Corporate interior design and fit-out, delivered by one accountable team

For more than eight years, CitySpace has designed and built modern commercial interiors across Bangladesh. We are known for large, complex corporate office interior design projects: multinational offices, banks, hospitals, warehouses and spaces for local groups and government bodies.

Every project has one team, one contract and one person answerable for the result. Drawings come before demolition, costs before orders, and a handover date is agreed before work begins.

Turnkey by default

Design, construction and furniture sit under a single contract, so nothing falls between contractors.

Selective by choice

We limit how many projects run at once. That leaves the time to protect deadlines and workmanship.

Built to international standards

Design, ergonomics, materials, equipment and safety follow the benchmarks our global clients expect.

How a commercial interior project runs at CitySpace

Six steps, the same on a 3,000 sq ft office and a 35,000 sq ft bank.

  1. Brief and site visit

We listen to your goals, measure the space and agree budget, timeline and headcount.

  2. Concept and layout

Space plans, look and feel and 3D visuals, revised with you until approved.

  3. Detailed design and costing

Construction drawings, material specifications, a bill of quantities and a fixed programme.

  4. Procurement and production

Materials are ordered and furniture and joinery are made while site preparation begins.

  5. Site execution

Construction under safety controls, with regular updates and extra shifts if the date demands it.

  6. Handover and support

Final inspection, snag list and walkthrough, then support after your team moves in.

About CitySpace, a Dhaka commercial interior design company

CitySpace is a Dhaka-based interior design & building construction company working across Bangladesh. Our focus is interior design, furnishing and furniture manufacturing or supply on a turnkey basis for medium to large local and multinational operations. Unlike commercial interior design firms that stop at drawings, we also build and furnish what we design.

We are selective about the clients we take on. They expect international standards for design, ergonomics, materials, equipment and safety, and because we do not run too many projects at once, we can protect deadlines without compromising workmanship.

Our aim is simple: solutions that work functionally, make economic sense and are practical to build, held to a consistent standard of technical excellence.

Common challenges in commercial interior projects, and how we handle them

Most fit-outs go wrong in the same six places. Here is what we do about each one.

Handover dates that slip

A delayed move-in means paying rent on two offices at once.

How we handle it

We agree a detailed programme at the costing stage, order materials while site preparation runs, and add extra shifts, up to 24/7, when the date is fixed. Our completed projects have run from 28 to 180 days.

Budgets that grow mid-project

Loose quotations turn into change orders halfway through the build.

How we handle it

You receive an itemised bill of quantities before work starts, priced competitively against other top-tier firms. Any change is priced before it is built.

Disruption to a working office or branch

Renovating an occupied floor puts daily operations at risk.

How we handle it

Works are phased around your operating hours. On our Microsoft, JTI and Siemens Healthineers modification projects, teams kept working throughout.

Too many contractors, no single owner

When designers, builders and furniture suppliers work separately, problems get passed around.

How we handle it

Design, construction and furniture sit under one contract with one point of contact, so a single team answers for the whole result.

Global brand, bank and hospital standards

Multinational tenants and regulated sites have strict specifications and approvals.

How we handle it

We work in close coordination with client stakeholders and consultants such as JLL, Archvista and Varian, and build to security, quality and safety requirements from the first drawing.

High energy use and poor daylight

Dark, over-lit floors raise running costs and make offices harder to work in.

How we handle it

We plan layouts and transparent partitions to carry daylight deep into the floor, as at the Guardian Life and BASF head offices, and pair them with efficient lighting.

Why companies choose CitySpace

The reasons clients give for coming back, in plain terms.

One team, one contract

Design, construction and furniture sit under a single point of responsibility, with no gaps between contractors.

Schedules that hold

Completed projects have run from 28 to 180 days depending on scope, and we plan the timeline before we start.

Ready to work 24/7

When a handover date is fixed, our young, dedicated site team can work around the clock to meet it.

Safe, well-run sites

Environment, health and safety practice is part of every site, from bank branches to hospital rooms.

  • ISO 9001:2015
  • ISO 45001:2018

Global standards, competitive cost

We build to the standards of clients such as Standard Chartered, HSBC, Microsoft and Siemens, at costs competitive with top-tier firms.

Energy-conscious design

Daylight planning, efficient lighting and reuse of existing furniture cut energy use and waste without losing style.

Long-term client relationships are our best record: CitySpace has never been replaced as contractor at a major client.

Frequently asked questions about commercial interior design in Bangladesh

Straight answers about how we work, how long it takes and where we build.

Ask us something else
What is a turnkey interior fit-out?

A turnkey fit-out means one company designs, builds and furnishes the space and hands it over ready to use. You sign one contract and deal with one team, instead of coordinating designers, contractors and furniture suppliers separately.

How long does a commercial interior fit-out take?

It depends on size and scope. Our completed projects have run from 28 days for a 5,500 sq ft bank branch to 180 days for a 35,000 sq ft bank office. A 5,000 sq ft corporate office has typically taken between 45 and 75 days.

How much does commercial interior design cost in Bangladesh?

Cost depends on area, finishes, furniture, electrical and HVAC scope, and how fast you need the space. After a brief and site visit we prepare an itemised bill of quantities, so you see where every taka goes before work begins.

Do you work outside Dhaka?

Yes. We work across Bangladesh. Recent projects include Narayanganj EPZ, Savar, Faridpur and Dhaka Export Processing Zone, alongside our work in Gulshan, Tejgaon, Motijheel and Dhanmondi.

Can you renovate an office while our team keeps working?

Yes. We phase the works around your operating hours to keep disruption to a minimum, as we did on modification projects for Microsoft, JTI and Siemens Healthineers.

Do you only build, or do you design as well?

Both. Our in-house team covers concept design, 3D visuals, construction drawings, build and furniture. We also build to designs prepared by your own consultant or another design firm.

What types of spaces do you fit out?

Corporate and multinational offices, bank branches, buying houses and garment showrooms, warehouses, and healthcare rooms including cath labs, MRI and CT suites and radiotherapy rooms.

Are you ISO certified?

Yes. CitySpace holds ISO 9001:2015 certification for quality management and ISO 14001:2015 certification for environmental management.
